My copy came by post the day before yesterday. It's great! I already owned Scott Tennant's Pumping Nylon, but this book is even more comprehensive, more detailed. I think that all classical guitarists should own both books.

Based on the sample on AMA Verlags website it certainly does look like it's an interesting book.

Tempting....

This seems like a very comprehensive book. Does anyone know if it will be available in North America in the near future? amazon.ca and .com have the German version and a bunch of other books by Mr. Kappel. Hopefully they'll have the English version soon.

Erik, what specifically do you like about this book? I've heard good things about it.

I just went through the order process on the AMA Verlag site. The book is 27.99 Euros and shipping to Canada is 36.55 Euros for a total of 64.54 Euros, which is currently $92.88 Canadian. I also checked the German musicstore site, and the total is 88 Euros or $126.64 Canadian. Wow! I think I'll wait till it's available in North America.
