So much to see in this. : )

I wonder if the fellow will be able to take his mind off hats and hazel tree leaves long enough to think about her. Then again, if she smiles he might forget all else.

I love it.

The positioning and faces are very expressive to me. Martin, when you created that scene, did you do the miniature set-up and then take the photograph shown here as a first take? Or did you take a picture and then think, "no, that's not it", then rework it, take another and think, "that's not it", etc., until it was just what you wanted? I'm curious because that last part is usually my process when working out how I want to play a piece of music.

Never mind my question in the second-to-last post. This thread is a current art-work in progress. Personally, I'd be irritated if I was playing a guitar piece and someone tapped me on the shoulder and asked what my intention was in a passage I had just played.

I hope I manage to finish the story before your enthusiasm for it runs out Lawler

My camera screen is a bit too small to judge things, so it's always a case of several hopeful shots, then later
upon computer upload I find out if I need retakes - by which time the plot is often off in a different
direction  - I never saw the Ox-bow incident - read up on wikipedia :? - says there was delay of initial
release on account of its sombre tone...

and sometimes I stay up too late doing the balloon scripting, post it, then wake up next morning thinking
that the dialogue was just not quite right - triple replacement episode coming soon...

I'll be here.

Even though this is a guitar forum I'm surprised that this thread isn't swamped with a deluge of comments - classical guitarists being of an artistic mindset and all that. Then again, the hidden-art aspect makes me appreciate it even more. I've been lucky to experience that rare surprise a few times online - finding something really great that few know about.

Thank you, Martin. The process interests me.

Thanks again.

I'm still watching the story unfold, too (rather quietly, from the sidelines, but enjoying it immensely nonetheless!). Cheers!

I quite agree, this is rich and fun. I sell books for a living. This would make a great book.

Thank you, Martin!

Those battle axes were in my mind today while cutting up a fallen branch in my garden. I used my wood axe, which of course is a totally different thing than a battle axe. I usually use a chainsaw but it just didn't feel right.

I have to say the escapee talks like an American.
