Is it a Cedar? Is it a Spruce? - #4A

To continue our little game:

Youtube

This time without any reverb or any other processing; straight to Tascam DR-40 via a matched pair of Rode NT 1A.
The playing is far from perfect and I was fighting a bit with the high tension strings on that guitar (you'll hear the places).

There is one edit, because I didn't have the time to play until everything is perfect. But basically it came out how I hear the piece.
As you'll find, I hear it to be played faster than it's usually done ...

Anyway, please enjoy!

I recorded the same tune the same way on the same day on a few more guitars, so soon there will be more of the fun ...

best wishes

Robert

Sounds spruce but has a quality that seems almost like a bright cedar.

And on comparing it to 4B, I'm going with CEDAR...
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.

I would say cedar, based mostly on basses.

The same piece on another guitar is here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=67785

No more votes? This time no reverb involved, so it should be easier to distinguish!
