November tune

Post by Zed McJack » Fri Sep 02, 2016 8:59 pm

This is the first time I post my song here.
The tune was composed sometimes in november 2014 and the C part was added in December. Its in the form of ABACA in the C key. I have no formal musical education and I dont really read or write notes, but I think its possible to enter tablature into some programs and export it in proper notation if need arises (I mean if anyone wanted to play it) :D
The tune initially was played a bit faster, but I slowed it down and now I like it that way.

I expect honest reviews no matter if they are harsh, we can all learn from this.

Thanks and sorry for sloppy playing

Z.

Nice piece, I liked the tempo, unusual sounding classical guitar.

Hi Zed,

I like this little tune & I'm already humming it. I would not be qualified to criticize anyones work, only thank thank them for sharing their art.

So, I thank you and I'm still humming your sweet tune.

Hi Zed McJack,

really a nice enchanting melody, which I'd like to play and probably other forum members, too.
When you decide to write down this piece, I'll be glad to help. Just let me know - here or via a private message.

Hi Zed,

Nice tune. Thanks for sharing. I'm also keen to learn to play it.

You asked about software that allows you to enter Tab and that will convert it to standard notation. One that I know of is called guitar pro. You can download a trial version for free to see if it suits your needs. The trial version is limited in many ways (example, you can't save your work) but still it gives you a good indication of whether it will work for you. Having said that, it sounds like Bernhard has kindly offered to assist you so you may not need the software at all now!!

Hi Paul,

thanks for listening and commenting on my tune. I sent some of my scribbles to Bernhard so well see if he can decipher them.
