Yup. It's still some of the most musically musical music to be found on these here fora --no exaggeration, it's one of my favourites. :bravo: again.

Thank you for listening Jurica, Ande and sweet Summer.

I'm still totally blown away by the fact that Flamey has singled out this modest recording as one of his favorites!

:merci:

Thank you for listening Marta, Milou, jupities and griggsy!

This piece really does sound like a story that should have words...

I guess it's yet another example of "A Song Without Words".

There are a few other wonderful recordings of it here that I hope you will listen to, too! :D

LOL, Tonyyyy!

Flameproof and I both despise his compositions (which are very much like this one), but we just can't escape them! It's like some kind of a bug that gets under your skin and then begins to effect your mind.

Figalo, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :D

Congrats Alan and thanks a lot for sharing. Lovely piece and superb playing. Couldn`t have done it better myself :). Can`t think of that thang can be played any better. Tonewise i find your guitar has a really very beautiful sound What guitar did you play?
The only minus with your recording is that you have some weak backgroundsnoise, other than that it was perfect.

Yeah, the rubbish stuff is the best, isn't it! Hang on... that's not right at all.

I don't know why I like the stuff I do (nor why I write the stuff I do) -- if one were to scrutinize Amando Sobre O Mar, I suppose one would conclude that it isn't deep, and it isn't especially original -- I almost suppose one shouldn't like it -- but when I listen to it, I sense the pleasure of creation, a little bit of joy in the moment, both in the composition and Alan's rendition, and that gets under my skin every time.

I have this one saved but I haven't listened to it for a while... I'm glad for the bump as it reminded me

It's still so beautiful to my ears Alan... I need music like this at the moment and your playing absolutely fits the bill :flowers:

Thank you again... musically sensitive, soothing and just lovely to listen to
