Congrats Alan and thanks a lot for sharing. Lovely piece and superb playing. Couldn`t have done it better myself . Can`t think of that thang can be played any better. Tonewise i find your guitar has a really very beautiful sound What guitar did you play?
The only minus with your recording is that you have some weak backgroundsnoise, other than that it was perfect.

Yeah, the rubbish stuff is the best, isn't it! Hang on... that's not right at all.

I don't know why I like the stuff I do (nor why I write the stuff I do) -- if one were to scrutinize Amando Sobre O Mar, I suppose one would conclude that it isn't deep, and it isn't especially original -- I almost suppose one shouldn't like it -- but when I listen to it, I sense the pleasure of creation, a little bit of joy in the moment, both in the composition and Alan's rendition, and that gets under my skin every time.
