Carcassi, Matteo; op.11/09 Valse - D04

Postby maton325 » Sat Oct 29, 2011 2:55 pm

A lovely Carcassi piece to learn to play,
found it hard to make musical though.
I like very much the changes in melody in the piece.
cheers

:bravo: Peter. Nice and clean. That's a new one for me and I enjoyed it. I'll have to look it up and give it a try.
Thanks,
Albert

ditto with everything altnaez said, including the nice part and the part about looking it up, probably right here on delcamp, under carcassi. lovely little waltz maton, thanks for posting this unfamiliar to me!

Thank you Albert and Julio for your kind words. The arrangement I used can be found in Mr Delcamp's teaching volumes, DO4.

8) Oh yes! also under D04! I overlooked that :) wonderful piece Peter. again, thanks for posting this and introducing this Carcassi piece to me. I always love hearing music unheard to me before, and music played well too! which you do! :bravo:
You may be the first person to record this.? believe it or not, there are literally dozens of classical pieces from the time of Carcassi and Carulli that have yet to be recorded.
