Magli, Daniele - Armstrong Moon - Video

Postby DanieleMagli » Fri Sep 04, 2009 8:25 pm

This is my first composition for classical guitar.
The title is ' Armstrong Moon ' as it is dedicated to Neil Armstrong the first man on the moon ( Forty years ago
1969-2009 )
It is a Studio for the right hand control.
I hope you like it!

Hello Daniele,
What an interesting piece! It is full of repetition, but I was fascinated throughout the whole piece. It must be the way you play. Any other player could make it a boring piece, but you kept me fascinated. With this piece, you have proved that even a simple 'story' can be a new musical experience. I love it! I hope you will compose more and wish you the best of luck on your musical journey. :bravo:

Daniele, I love the piece! It is simply beautiful. I like the repitition - for me, it makes the melody come out more because it's different, and you notice the melody notes floating above the bass lines.

Thank you, and I also hope that you share more of your compositions with us,

Evelyn

Hello Daniele,
I like this piece! The meditative character of the music is very relaxing and I bet it is a lot of fun for the player.

Clever study Daniele... allows full focus for the right hand but is not at all boring
Very musically pleasing... thank you for sharing this piece :D
