Magli, Daniele - Ghost - Video

Post by DanieleMagli » Wed Apr 28, 2010 5:59 pm

Hello everyone,
here is my new composition entitled Ghost.
I hope you enjoy it,
enjoy!

Daniele Magli : Ghost

Youtube

Everyone has his own ghost
and this was the initial inspiration for me
for this composition but later it
was enriched with a thousand other meanings
I'm not here to tell you,
while its melody with his departure upbeat
chasing me everywhere, even at night in dreams .
Then the music game is not the Staccato technique that
making notes ghosts in half,
but the lack of tonic, that there is not ... but
may appear at any moment.

Thanks for your interest.
I chose to be a teacher of classical guitar just because you do not need to be famous.
Otherwise I would have had to write ' The famous Daniele Magli plays a famous piece by Daniele Magli ' :)
is also a title too long :D

Thanks for your trust.
I play classical guitar for many years but I compose music for only a few months.
I think for a moment the Sonata is a structure too complex, too organized,
is a gigantic architecture: too much for me at the moment.
When I started playing I run into small pieces by Sor, Giuliani, Carcassi.
Only after many years I have played well the 'Grande Overture' by Giuliani
or ' Capriccio Diabolico' by Castelnuovo Tedesco or 'Sonata Romantica' by Ponce.
If you want you can visit my website, there are many videos of my interpretations.
But any art requires many years and now it's far too early for a sonata.

Thank you very much

Thank you Pepe.
the title of a piece is my inspiration and for this piece I was very inspired by the events of my life.
Now I am very worried that my personal ghost will appear again :)

:bravo:
Wow! Daniel, this is a very interesting piece.
It certainly has the rushing heart beat down and it's just down right spooky and comical at the same time.

I like it because it's just fun. When I was listening to it just now, I kept thinking about someone who is really afraid of the ghost, but they are repetitively poking their finger in the middle of the ghost and getting a big laugh.
Thank you for sharing your music with us, I really enjoyed hearing you play.
:merci:

Thank you Kay !
I always found something ironic in the music by Castelnuovo-Tedesco
so when I heard Capriccio Diabolico for the first time I thought it was a joke on the devil. Then I discovered
that it was not so but I kept the idea for myself and so now I'm composing the pieces a little bit funny about devils, ghosts,
spirits and various monsters of terror .

Thank you :merci:

Wow I really like this. I'd love to play it. Would you consider making the score available? It just looks like so much fun to play.
