Daniele, this is a great piece! I like the energy you've put in here. There's a little bit of rock n roll in there - you should've recorded the video wearing a leather jacket! Awesome work!

Another wonderful composition Daniel.

Your "Lunar" series has a dominant bass rhythm that I find not only makes each piece very interesting and enjoyable but also ties the pieces together.

Thanks for the whole series.

Thank you Hans !

My 'Lunar Studies' are dedicated to Apollo 11 mission and the first man on the moon , Armstrong.
They are good to play together because useful for the right hand technique.
Parallel Universe and Lost in Space are taken from my new series of compositions
'Sci-Fi on Classical Guitar' (science fiction on classical guitar),
I'm glad you like it

:merci:

Daniele, if you're doing Sci-Fi, how about a piece for Battlestar Galactica (the original series, not the boring new sets of series like Caprica)?

This is definitely contemporary. My wife overhead this piece and said that it sounded like a Crosby, Stills and Nash composition.

They are actually a singing trio and many of their songs are backed up by their acoustical guitar playing.

I think my style as composer has been influenced a bit by many modern music
this is a crossover style,
I think it is impossible today to make music as in the last century or in 1800.
currently there is only one of my composition (Ghost)
which is not much crossover.
I am also very satisfied of my Six Lunar Studies,
(Especially Apollo 11 and Sea of Tranquility).
I do not like modern compositions that hark back to Bach or Sor...
I think my compositions are contemporary music for classical guitar.

P.S. :
But your wife is an expert in music? :D

Another intriguing piece which uses a driving ostinato bass, well done!

I like pieces with low D tuning a lot, this one makes good use of the tuning.

Thanks for sharing,

Hello Aryeh ,
thank you very much !
I like D tuning too ,it's a great sound and it shakes the timber so powerful .
I think this will not be the last piece with driving ostinato bass,
I'm exploring this technique for my space compositions :)
I hope you 'll visit my web site, ciao

Daniele
