This one has tied notes - and it's just dawned on me that I've not put the words in; if anyone doesn't know them already and wants them I can update it later.

:merci: I have recently started teaching my youngest grandchild (after waiting for him to express an interest) and the words would be useful. After imparting a knowledge of open strings I always gave youngsters the G natural scale (from the open third string to third fret on string one) with melodies such as this (Coulter's Candy etc.) within that range.

You're welcome: :D

Hill 'n' Gully rider, hill 'n' gully,
Hill 'n' Gully rider, hill 'n' gully,
Better bend down low down,
Hill 'n' Gully
Better bend down low down,
Hill 'n' Gully

...don't ask me what it all means but it sounds good! It's from the Caribbean I think.

Thank you for this piece. It is perfect for my students and I know that I'm going to use it a lot in the next few weeks.

eales, Thanks a lot (repetition obviating writer's cramp in getting the lyrics down). Yes, ally bally... is the one, some resemblance to 'Baa, baa black sheep..'
