Thanks for this!! I first read about it in the (excellent) book Imprimatur by Monaldi & Sorti. So every time I hear it I'm projected to that time in history.

Concerning Les Barricades Mystérieuses, the version of Enno Vorhorst is remarkable; he intends to publish it in America soon; i saw a manuscript. You can watch him on YouTube.

The version done by Les is very well done; i got also a manuscript by Enno Voorhorst which is good one to compare; some notes seem to be different in the 3rd couplet which i have to check again...

Perhaps it is interesting for all learning this beautiful piece to compare the 3rd couplet with other versions as there are some differences, for instance in the 60th bar
an F instead of an A, same 62nd bar.
