[PDF] Schmelzer, J. H. - Sonata a Quattro 9- Duo

Post by MartinY » Mon Jul 11, 2011 9:07 am

This is a Sonata a Quattro by Johann Heinrich Schmelzer (c.1620–23 –1680) from Sacro-Profanus Concentus Musicus, (1662), number 9. It is transposed down a minor 3rd. I have made the bottom 3 parts into a guitar part. There is a version of the top line which fits flute and C fingering recorders.

There is nowhere to turn pages in the 4 page guitar part. You need to stick pages 1 and 4 as wings on the middle two pages if you put your parts in a book.

Your duets look great. I'm going to enjoy playing it with my granddaughter.
Thank you. :merci:
