Here is what will be probably the first substantial piece by J. J. Fux played by guitarists, though I am sure someone must have arranged some little minuets. I prepared this for strings for a summer school but down a minor 7th it fits on 3 guitars with an optional doubling of the bass.

though is music is not in any way pedantic and this Ouverture is rather beautiful. I am stopping proof reading now and am starting to look forward to playing it next week.
P. S. We played this last night (14/10/11) there is one E-flat missing somewhere and the trills in parts 1 and 2 of the canon are not quite identical and they should be. I will put up a corrected version when it has been lived with a bit more..... Martin.
