Zoom H4n Digital Recorder vs Edirol R-09HR Recorder

Postby GuitaristOrdinate » Fri May 22, 2009 4:31 pm

I'd like to hear opinions from the forum's members of the Zoom H4n Handy Portable Digital Recorder vs the Edirol R-09HR High-Resolution wave/mp3 Recorder . I'd especially like to hear from owners of one or both of them and why they bought them as opposed to the other . Also can you sync them up to your HD Video Camcorder . I have a Sony HDR-UX10 Camcorder and I'm currently leaning towards the Zoom H4n because it seems to have more features . But I just can't make up my mind on which would be better for adding better sound to our home videos , videos of my guitar playing as well as making sound only recordings of my playing ( and my teachers ) . Thanks in advance for any assistance and insight .
