Many years ago, Barrueco told me that he has a very difficult time listening to his recordings at all and generally doesn't (because he didn't like them). I don't know if this is still true or not, but it's and interesting observation to make about any of his recordings.

Hi,

I saw some of your recording and you definitely have control over your pieces. Nice playing. I am also struggling with this issue for a few reasons;
1. No capacity to edit out any mistakes, since the mistakes are linked to an image.
2. Less interesting video, appearing nervous, etc.

The answer seems to be to record the piece in audio first, fix a few errors, add a bit of echo. If you make mistakes you need not worry about a camera that has been turned off, or adding so much unnecessary film footage to delete later. When you have that perfect recording, and maybe you only need one or two to make it big on YT (for most people that seems to be the case), you can mime your own playing and in the process choose a nice setting, not having to worry about background noise, etc. You will look more relaxed on film since you won't be fretting over buzzes and finger sounds!

Good luck.
