Hi Stephen,

That's been approved by M. Delcamp. You're now in the group.

Good Evening!
I would lie to join the teacher's group as I am a public school classical guitar teacher in South Windsor, CT, USA. I have been doing this since 2002. I also have private classical students.

Yours most sincerely,
Steve

Hi Steve,

In order to join the Teachers group, you need to demonstrate that you're already fulfilling the conditions of the relevant paragraph in the first post of this thread, including "They contribute to the teaching resources of the forum by posting mp3s or videos, arrangements or compositions, or analyses or online lessons, and regularly provide help to the amateur guitarists of the forum." The best thing is to wait a while until you've posted a few contributions of that sort and then apply again with links to the relevant posts as evidence. When the time comes, you'll also need to request a change of username to your full name.

Best wishes,
Geoff

I would also like to be included in the 'teachers section' if this system still exsists.

Julian

Hi Julian,

Welcome to the forum. Yes, the group does still exist. Membership means that you are listed in the group here and that your username colour and a caption below it mark you out as a teacher. To apply for membership you not only need to be a qualified teacher but also to have given the benefit of your experience to other forum members on a regular basis. Please see the suggestions in my reply to Steve immediately above your post.

Best wishes,
Geoff

Hi Wulfin,

Please note that membership of the above groups is not only about your qualifications, but also dependent on your contributions to the forum in all three areas, and I'm afraid I don't see any relevant contributions from you in that respect, so I cannot see any likelihood that Mr. Delcamp will be able to add you to the groups at this point. I would suggest that you try again in a few months, after having participated more fully in forum life, and after having posted qualifying contributions in all three areas as described in the first post of this topic.

Best wishes,
Geoff
