hello from UK

Postby stratman79 » Thu Jun 14, 2012 11:29 am

Hi all,

I'm a guitarist from south east UK, mainly teaching these days all though do do a few gigs and recording sessions to keep hand in.

Been looking for a classical forum and seems a good community here so thought I'd give it a try.

I'm mainly an electric player, I play a bit of classical, enough to get by but decided to try and put some work in and improve :-)

Practice time us hard to come by as jazz eats a lot of my study hours... I'm trying to do about 10 hours a week on ye ol nylon

Currently have a couple of pupils at Grade 5 and enjoy the teaching the Trinity syllabus.

Thats about all.

Hi Stratman,

Welcome to the forum! You'll find that quite a few of ye ol nylon players here came from an electric background, and I'm sure you're going to feel right at home. Please have a look at this page for some useful information to get you started, including links to the rules and helpfiles. You now have access to all members' scores and recordings, and soon after your second post you will automatically be subscribed to the 002 group, with will give you access to the first 3 levels of the Delcamp score collections. You can apply for access to higher levels of the Delcamp collections as your postcount increases. Just ask if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you around!

Best wishes,

Geoff

With your level of expertise on the electric guitar and putting in this number of hours on the CG, your learning curve should be pretty good. I'm sure that our forum will keep you motivated and you will pick up some great tips.

On another note, it's always interesting to know where our members live so please consider adding your location to your profile by going to your “User Control Panel” and clicking on the “Profile” tab.

:merci: and enjoy your time with us.
