Ads are moved to the archives as soon as the guitar is sold. Ads that have had no response for more than one year will be moved to the archives. A message can be edited by its author for the first 21 days after posting, after which it is necessary to ask a moderator to make any changes.

Members who buy an instrument unseen do so at their own risk and should exercise due caution. For added security, it is advisable to use a licensed online escrow service (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escrow).

The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) means that some materials used in guitars, although formerly allowed, may now require permits or be illegal to sell across national borders, or even locally in some places. 2015 Eric Sahlin
650 scale 52 nut
Spruce Top
Traditional fan bracing
Brazilian sides and back
Mint condition

This guitar is a work of art with some of the most stunning Brazilian rosewood you have ever seen. The guitar has a very strong open voice with amazing clarity. It is mint condition. The fit and finish is the finest I have ever seen from any builder. I visited Eric at his shop and he has a very real 13 year waiting list. Only sells one guitar a year to GSI and all of his other orders are to individuals around the world. I hate to part with her as she is a stunning beauty that is super easy to play but in light of my continuing problems with FD I am selling her. The guitars are very rare with a legitimate 13 year wait list.

I will post pictures shortly

Love Eric's guitars. Amazing clarity and workmanship. Playability is second to none. I'd say good luck on the sale but I am sure you will not need it.

I am on Sahlin's waitlist and I have a 10+ year wait still. I agree with Dofpic that my Sahlin has the finest attention to detail than any guitar I've owned, plus the sound doesn't hurt either, ha. I paid 7.5K for my 97' Sahlin about 2 years ago so this is a great deal. My wife would kill me if I bought another guitar. I'm surprised his guitars don't sell for more. Good luck with the sale.

Just thinking Jim - since it is a relatively young guitar if you had CITES documentation it might be worth mentioning that.

Good idea Peter. I will contact Eric. Of course after you get the Cites papers you then need to get an export permit from the US, then an import permit from the country it is going to. Regulation run amok.
