XIV BBCode for embedding a YouTube video in your message

As long as you respect copyrights, you may embed YouTube videos on the forum using the BBCode code tags.

This is an example of the code that allows you to show this video of the Vivaldi duet RV532 (the score is present in the forum library)

The YouTube url is : http://youtube.com/watch?v=XKxlQ7CKn0A

To display the video on the forum, copy the code after the equal sign =
(If the url is longer, like this http://youtube.com/watch?v=XKxlQ7CKn0A&feature=related, please note that the code lies between the "v=" and the "&")

Then place this code between the opening tag

Code: Select all

and the closing tag

Code: Select all

The complete code which will show the text description "Vivaldi RV532 Duo" video in your message is:

Code: Select all

The video displays like this:

Clicking the YouTube button at the top of the messaging editing window will create the opening and closing YouTube tags.

:contrat: A usual, thanks in advance for respecting copyrights. Messages with links to copyrighted works will be deleted without notice. Read the rules to find more information and references concerning copyright.
