Simplicio, Vito - Coral Dawn

Post by Vito Simplicio » Mon Feb 19, 2007 12:23 am

Hello Everyone,

If you compose music, you must write a song for your wife. This song is dedicated to my wife, Coral Dawn Simplicio. When we first started dating 20 years ago, she said our relationship wouldn't last 6 months.
I'll be posting the sheet music soon.

Sincerely,

Vito

Hey Vito ! I know your wife must love this piece - you romantic devil ! :chitarrista: Seriously, this such a nice piece - hope you'll post the score for us sometime. I really like the way the melody is carried in the arpeggios. Best Wishes, Mike

Hello Vito,

This is gorgeous, and I love the arpeggios Mike just referred to.

Lovely composition, beautifully played. Thank you so much for letting us hear it.

Best wishes, V :D :merci:

Hi Mike and Vesuvio,

Thanks so much for listening. I'm so please that you enjoyed this piece.

Mike, I'll be posting the sheet music soon. My wife does like this piece. When I first started constructing it, she would give me feedback telling me she liked it. I struggled a little bit with the title but decided that since she has such a beautiful name, it would go good with the piece. On another note hope you are feeling well and back to full recovery.

Sincerely,

Vito

My dear Vito,

Hello, "Romeo"!!! :D :D :D

Your wife must have loved your labor of love, my friend!!! Well... I did!!!

Your wife does have a very lovely name and I agree with you that it is the most suitable title for this very lovely piece! As what the music reflects, I am sure that she is much more wonderful than her name!

I pray that you'd be blessed with a lot more years of love and happiness!

I'd hate you if you won't post the score ASAP! :D :D :D

I love you, my dear friend!

yours,

Tony

Dear Tony,

Like most men, I'm never romantic enough for her so yes, the piece did give me a little more credibility in the love department.

I was prepared to post the written music but unfortunately the software that I use doesn't convert to a pdf so I have to first print it and then scan it to create a pdf on my work printer.

Tony, thank you for your continued support of my music. It is so much appreciated.

Truly,

Vito

Hi Richard,

Thanks for commenting. I'm listening to "Oriental Air" as I'm typing. Great piece. To me I see a beautiful Asian woman looking out into the gentle rain.

Yes, my wife does have a beautiful name and she is beautiful in so many other ways too. I hope my song does it justice.

Sincerely,

Vito

Hello Vito,

I've been listening to your pieces here and I could not help it but to think of some pictures I took somewhere near Phoenix about a year and a half ago. Here is one of them in the attachment.

Regards,
Boris

Hey Vito-

I'm sorry I missed this one-I really like it, especially the way the middle section has the melody in the bass. It's quite complete, not forced, and a good, relaxed ending. There's a bit of mystery in the music also, and the title works. Thanks for this.
