Magli, Daniele - Twilight - Video

Postby DanieleMagli » Wed Jan 13, 2010 9:18 pm

Hello,
I composed this piece for classical guitar beginners and I have called it Twilight ( like the movie ).
Twilight is a very useful piece for the 'arpeggio' and to know the fingerboard of the classical guitar.
It seems a bit the famous guitar piece' Spanish Romance / Jeux Interdits '
played on the contrary but the melody is original and I believe that if you play Twilight
then you will be more easily able to play Spanish Romance / Jeux Interdits.

P.S: to play Twilight you don't need to be vampires :D

Thank you very much!
I composed this easy piece for classical guitar
beginners who find too difficult my Lunar Studies.

Anyway, as every classical guitarist knows, to play perfectly an easy piece it is not so easy :)

D,
I particularly liked the harmony created by the melody when it was on a scalar note and would drop a half step. Very eerie sounding. very nice.

Thank you!
A friend of mine told me that I have mixed Fur Elise by Beethoven
with Jeux Interdits/Spanish Romance .... :)

Actually I composed this melody because it is linked with the memory
of a wonderful twilight .
