I ask you first to work on all these exercises and pieces for one week and then to post your recordings on the forum for:
- page 26 du volume D01 : Jean-François DELCAMP (1956) POLYPHONIE (apoyando).
- page 19 ANONYME (1750) QUE NE SUIS-JE LA FOUGÈRE (tirando).
- page 8 Stephen Collins FOSTER (1826-1864) OH! SUSANNA (apoyando).

Good luck!

Welcome everyone joining us for the new year's lessons.
Note that one of the pieces has changed so don't post exactly what last year's students posted.

How many pieces per week are we expected to learn/record? I thought these lessons were presented on a MONTHLY basis, not weekly.

A new set is available each month when M Delcamp unlocks the thread and posts the pieces. Luciano has quoted this month's set.
Although M Delcamp suggests posting after 1 week this is just a minimum time to practice before posting your video/MP3 in order to get some initial feedback. You can then refine the piece over the month and perhaps post again later.
Most of us need more than a week to get a reasonable attempt together so that useful feedback can be given.

Thanks very much for clarifying things. I thought I'd made a huge mistake

It (also) takes me a while to learn new material and I thought we had one week to master things. And with Lucian's post, a fine effort I might add, I now have a little better idea of what is expected after one week.

The audio is muted somewhat for the first second or so. I'm not sure why this is happening.
