Oh Thank You Homayoon,

What a wonderful present to hear this grand Scarlatti piece. Also known as K322 (it actually sits on my music stand as I write this,) this mature and courtly sonata (from D. Scarlatti's later years) is a much beloved composition. You played it very well -- and listening to it is a pleasure.

Homayoon ~ It's all been said above, except how very extraordinary you are to us here on the forum. You give so freely of your time and talent and all of us here are the happy recipients !! :casque: This is a wonderful piece and very complex - I am amazed at how quickly you master such difficult selections.

Congratulations on another masterpiece :)
:bravo: I love the slower tempo. I'm used to hearing this about double the speed which I think keeps me from learning it. This is very reasonable - maybe I'll get out the sheets and learn it 8)
:merci:

Hi Nathanael,
thank you very much for the comment.
Double speed :!: who plays that at this tempo :?: I can not imagine it, not because of difficulty, just because of the musicality of the piece. In my opinion this tempo or maybe a little higher or slower would be appropriate for this sonata. However there are many different interpretations, arrangements and approaches.
I recommned listening to Manuel Barrueco who is the best player of Scarlatti's music with guitar.
I am sure that you will enjoy playing this peice. So, do not hesitate and get out the score.

Happy Guitar
