Hello everyone,

It has been a while since Andrew recorded some of his work so we have some Bach to share with you today!

Hope you enjoy.

I have many students of varying ages, and standard, I have added a play list to my You Tube channel specifically for my students to take to the screen and enjoy sharing with you their performances.

I hope that you will take the time to have a look and offer considered and positive encouragement to some very talented and committed individuals.

This is really good. I like the calm approach to the music and you have a very clean, economical technique.

Bravo

Best wishes

Hi,

Thank you all for you positive comments to Andrew.

Andrew is enjoying the repertoire of Bach and we are hoping to build up a suite over the rest of the year.

I am glad that you are enjoying the student playlist Christa, they are talented students!

Best wishes,

Matthew

Good hands, well executed, good teacher. I notice that he mis-alternates often repeating 'i' three or four times in a row. Nothing wrong with repeating fingers, but at that tempo it might be more relaxed if there was constant alternation between the quarter note breaks. If fingered for it (left hand ), the whole piece can be played smoothly with mim mim mim mim if you get my meaning here. Just a thought.

Watching and hearing Andrew play this is amazing! I'm especially impressed with how calm and relaxed he is in his approach. I know this was posted quite awhile ago, but I'm new to the site and just seeing this for the first time. I was excited to find that I have this piece and now Andrew has totally inspired me to work on this. I'm not nearly at his skill level, but we'll see how it goes!

Very impressive -- cool - calm -- collected :bravo:
Does anyone know if this score for this is in one of the books on the site? -- Thanx

Andrew has excellent technique and you have done a fine job. May I make a few comments? Well, I will anyway. This is just my opinion so take it for what it's worth.

1) I might have mentioned this before but Andrew should alternat fingers on the eighth note figures. There is nothing wrong with repeating fingers, but with quick notes he will get a smoother phrasing fi he alternates.

2) At around 10-14 seconds (and other places) he has a bad left hand fingering. You want to be able to connect the eighth notes to the quarter notes and this won't happen if fingers controlling the melody have to leap across many strings.

3) Andrew should use more dynamics to help shape the line.

Good job all in all.
