Gavyn Chalmers ~ Valse

Post by Matthew McAllister » Sat Feb 20, 2010 3:30 pm

Gavyn came for a lesson this morning and was sounding very good so we recorded one of the pieces he is currently working on.

We used this Valse (anon ~ arranged by Jean-François Delcamp & you can get it in the sheet music section here) to work on vibrato, sharpening up Gavyn's finger placement and general accuracy when moving positions. I am very happy with the work he has done on this piece, having never used or tired applying vibrato before Gavyn has done a great job adding a little tasteful vibrato to the melody line.

Hope you enjoy,

Matthew

Wow it's been a while since I heard Gavin - I can't believe how long ago it was. He's coming along marvellously. Thanks Gavin.
