Wonderful, Cary! Yes, the laughter of your daughter was so refreshing.

By the way, what kind of guitar support were you using when this video was shot, my dear friend?

humbly yours,

Antonio aka "Fingerboard"

Thanks, Jay, and to Antonio as well. :)

To answer your question, Antonio, I was not using any guitar support, simply a rubber mat on my right thigh, with the right arm holding the guitar in place.

I played in standard position (as you see my daughter) for many years, but recently have adopted the Pepe Romero/Adam Holzman style, and have really benefited from the change.

There are so few posts in this forum, the thread is near the top even after 4 years. That made me smile and reminded me that this is supposed to be fun, thanks for posting.

My daughter would have left me in the dust, but fortunately she plays piano, not guitar....
Very nice video, keep on playing together!

Thanks for commenting everyone :)

Yes, Rachel is now married (September 18) and is busy with her new life. I did admonish her to keep the music going...

Hey Carey, how about the two of you post a new duet to the thread? Does she still play CG?
I am teaching my daughter CG. She has been playing for 5 months. She didn't start until she was thirty.
