Which Pro guitarist has the worst posture?

I'd say Bream does, but I think Yamashita may also.

Depends on what you mean by bad posture. There is a trade off between ergonomics as it relates to right and left hand position, guitar stability and healthy postural (spine, shoulder, hip) alignment. So... which is the worst posture - the one that strains the hands/wrists/arms, or the one that deforms the spine and causes hip joint pain? Too, is it necessarily bad if it just looks awful but is comfortable for the artist?

Ana Vidovic I think - I dot know how she can contort the spine and neck so much for extended periods of time....

Yamashita certainly moves around a lot, bobbing and weaving.

She looks pretty flexible, though.

Ricardo Gallen's position doesn't look very ergonomic (this is a really excellent video, BTW):

[ I seriously hope he doesn't end up down the track with brain damage. All that violent head shaking over time cannot possibly do any good.]

On CG, I don't think any of the pro's have a posture really detrimental to their long-term health. They've spent tens of thousands of hours getting to where they are, so wouldn't you think somewhere along the line early on their bodies would have been telling them if something was wrong??

We don't know how to listen to our body, so that's perfectly possible (:
There are so may people (including me) who live with a "deformed" and unhealthy body, and we often think we're fine.

It seems normal for many (most ?) of the musician to feel pain but to play though it. With time you don't even feel it anymore, it seems normal.
Cette dernière trahison m'a été également reprochée. Ce que je trouve à répondre, c'est:"merde aux conventions!"

I wouldn't say Bream has a very bad posture. (Does anyone have heard something of Bream recentely? He seems to have totally disappeared from the earth :) )

I think Bream retired...

I can't watch Julian Bream playing, because he seems to hold his breath too long. But if I close my eyes, I hear only beautiful music. What a great musician! He is my favourite, my benchmark.
