A 6-string guitar neck on a larger grand tenor uke body. This is essentially a nylon-strung parlor guitar, and has a great sound. Tuned like a guitar (E A D G B E). Designed by Pepe Romero, Jr. Handcrafted of all solid woods, a spruce top and rosewood back and sides. 2" nut width, 24.75" scale length, 14 frets to the body. Total length is 33-5/8", body length is 14-3/4" and lower bout is 11-1/2" wide. Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Abalone rosette. Mother of pearl Pepe Romero signature. Black geared tuners.
This little sweetheart of a guitar was imported by me in January of last year. I bought this guitar after purchasing one of the Cordoba Mini guitars. which I liked for tooling around the house, but it ultimately felt like a toy with its 510mm scale length and modified tuning. The Pepe Romero Signature Guitar is really nothing like the Mini, it handles and plays like a guitar or a much bigger stature. Note the photo next to my full sized Classical.
It has excellent finish and I believe that all of his Signature guitars get reviewed and setup by Pepe Jr. at his studio in California.
I am a bit torn about offering this for sale since it is so versatile, but have plans to get my hands on another classical and need to bolster more funds. The guitar is in perfect condition and comes with a soft case. There are many clips out there of this guitar but these are my favorites. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jwk7BGGP8oQ
Imported for $1375AUD (damn Aussie dollar) and offering it up for $900AUD. Please note that all of these photos uploaded are taken from Guitar Salon (other than the one comparison photo). I'll try and upload more photos of the actual guitar tonight.
