The above price includes shipping anywhere in the Continental USA. Also included is an upgraded Humicase Protege (Arched top wood case with 7-ply construction. Deluxe locking chrome hardware, soft plush interior with storage compartment. Built-in Humidification System.)

Why spend $300 more to buy a new Estudio?

I am the original owner, bought in 2011 from Guitars International (Armin Kelly). Careful attention to temperature and humidity. Smoke-free and pet-free house.

The guitar is in like-new condition with no issues. It has been played only a handful of times. The voice is sweet and lyrical. Set-up to allow easy playing with both left and right hands.

Taken from Guitars International:

Overview: German Vazquez Rubio (sometimes referred to as G.V. Rubio, German V. Rubio, German Rubio, and German Vazquez) was born in Paracho, Mexico but has resided in the USA since the 1970s.

This musical gem is an exciting alternative to all laminated and solid body factory production (so called handmade) guitars from the U.S.A. and abroad. Indeed, these beautiful truly handcrafted solid wood guitars by one of this country's finest, most experienced luthiers regularly outperform entry level concert instruments costing substantially more.

"I could easily play on one of these in recital!" a number of skeptical visiting international concert artists have exclaimed after auditioning a Vazquez Rubio Estudio Model: large open sound, wide color palette, broad dynamic range, comfortable neck contour and easy action set up, good separation, accurate intonation, signed label. In sum, we have yet to play a smoother, more musical, more elegant sounding guitar for the money.

Materials: Back and sides of palo escrito, straight grain ced. soundboard, ebony fingerboard, thinly applied lacquer finish, superb workmanship and materials, UPGRADED Humicase Protege hardshell case, 650mm string length
