Bach, J. S. - BWV 0565 Toccata - video

Post by MarcusStrand » Fri Mar 03, 2017 3:49 pm

Here is the first piece I've tried with my new Casio DG-20, hailed as the future of the guitar back in 1987.
The end of traditional guitars never came but the Casio is still one of the grooviest instruments in my collection!
Being the flagship model it works as midi controller for when you get tired of the 20 instrument sounds, 12 drum loops or, more likely, the 4" speaker.
The playing action is surprisingly not bad with really good tracking and a reasonably sturdy feel even though it's plastic through and through. The strings are however very low tension and the string height is terrible, hence the capo pushing the strings down somewhat.
Anyway less talk more rock!

Dear Marcus,
Loved the music, almost sounds like an organ, compliments for your playing, thank you!
