I thought it was a first-class interpretation and great recording too. You played with great confidence...and that drew me in as a listener. :bravo:

:bravo: Great playing and interpretation!

Because you asked for thoughts: to my feeling the time (tempo) could be more consistent.

best wishes
Robert

I respectfully disagree, Robert. :)

I first fell in love with this piece when the Parkening recording came out. Parkening took far more liberties with the tempo than Amadis has done. I still love it.

Good job of playing and recording, Amadis!

:bravo:

That one from Bach was one of my lullabies, as I was a small kid. So it is somehow stiffly integrated in my ears. I really enjoyed this vivid and fluent version, Amadis! But do not count me as expert, I prefer Simone Dinnersteins Goldberg Variations over those from Glenn Gould, and even have been observed to smile peacefully, while listening to the Swingle Singers version of this tune. By the way: I never understood, why someone in their recordings always had to brush a drumset ;-)
Thanks a lot for sharing your performance.

Bravissimo!

You have a wonderful tone and your phrasing is exquisite Amadis. Very elegant playing.

I'm so glad you posted this! I am currently working on this movement and was considering how to interpret the end of the phrases. Your choices were very tasteful and appealing to the ear. Beautiful playing! Thank you again!
