Hi,

This is a recording of Op44 No 16 by Fernando Sor. A few little mistakes so needs more practice but thought i would share anyway. Recorded with Edirol R09HR & Rohan Lowe guitar. Hope you enjoy.

A little pic of my guitar.

David,
Charming piece. Per usual you play it well.

Following your lead I have decided to try to record a piece or two each week. I like the idea of picking some small pieces and working on musicality, tone, and technique. Now I just need to find some quiet time around the house to actually make it happen.

Yea that was fantastic. I'll mirror what Ken said in that it really is a great idea to play shorter simpler pieces and work on tone. Thanks to you, David, and others on this forum I have come to that realization. I used to try to play pieces that were probably too difficult and even though after months of practice I could play them with plenty of mistakes... I would end up frustrated with the sound and my right arm and shoulder in need of a rest haha.

And I think if you are going to play for people, they would rather hear a tone-sweet version of Sor op. 35/22 than an Albeniz Asurias that's full of mistakes even though you can "play" it haha.

Keep up the good work David :)
