Oops - sorry Rob - you posted while I was replying. Was conscious of the thread drifting already and will make myself scarce.

Please don't make yourself scarce, Mark, as I was grateful if your input. But there a few here who keep pulling away to their own areas of concern. I don't mind the enthusiasm one bit, but would rather keep the thread focussed on my initial comments. I look forward to reading posts about decacordes, elevenacordes (!), And recording techniques elsewhere on this forum.

Really enjoyed the latest video, you seem to have settled very quickly with the guitar. You certainly draw a wonderful haunting sound from it.

Thanks. Appreciated. It's an easy guitar to play. If anything, I could do with the action raised about half a millimetre at the 12th fret. I might raise the bridge saddle accordingly. Then it would be 100% perfection!

Conall, could you please start a separate thread about the decacorde. I'd appreciate that.
Oops, sorry Rob - I'm a bit like a very unfunny uninspired Billy Connolly....I keep getting distracted & going off on tangents! I'll look up decacorde elsewhere on this forum first then start a new thread if I can't find one.

Difficult question I know, but out of your two Hernandez guitars which has the better tone across the six string range ?

Impossible question to answer with any certainty. Suffice to say, I'm just about to put my 6-string up for sale...
