R.I.P Roland Dyens

Post by Erik Zurcher » Sat Oct 29, 2016 5:04 pm

Dear friends,

I am heartbroken to announce that Roland Dyens passed away today. It is a great loss for all of us, he has contributed a lot to the guitar world. His spirit and music will be with us forever. Our thoughts go to his family.

Certainly one of my favourite classical guitarists/composer. His repertoire and recordings will live on.

I am appalled and very sad.

I met Roland Dyens and discussed with him last year at the Paris festival guitars.
