Very nice job. A few years ago I bought the Tony D'Addono Nutcracker Suite booklet, and thought I would learn some of them for Christmas. We've been to the Nutcracker many times and I've always loved the music. When I tried the Arabian Dance, "Coffee," the bass part just about drove me crazy. You've inspired me to give it another go. Thanks, I really enjoyed it.
I bought my classical guitar before my first marriage. That didn’t last, but the guitar did; one of the few things she didn't get...

Thanks! Yes, the bass part has become purely muscle memory for me....which probably means there's a good chance I'll blow it during a live performance. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the kind words, Kurt!

That was great! Is this part of a larger work?

Thank you! Yes, this is from the Nutcracker Suite.

Thanks! A guitarist named Adam Kossler recorded a great version of this piece that he arranged. I used his transcription as a starting point, but made a some different arrangement decisions. So it's sort of a hybrid.

I love the repetitive bass line it is hypnotizing
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to"
"I don't much care where–"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

Very interesting piece and arrangement!
Thank you - I started to appreciate when I get a chance to learn new interesting pieces for the classical guitar repertoire.
And great performance ;) :bravo:
