I think I've heard this tune before.

I once heard a compliment about an African musician that went: "He has a wonderful sense of 'No Hurry'". This reminds me of that.

Above all, I was trying to convey a sense of space. I think this piece demands that.

Lovely recording! I've played an arrangement of this piece for flute and guitar before, but it was wonderful to hear this solo guitar version of it here. Thanks for sharing

Yeah, I think this is one of those pieces where you have to sort of understate the musical expression, in order to communicate its beauty. It's early minimalism, so I'm being minimalist in my approach.

I think you should try and bring out what's there, not twist things to suit you or your technique.

One aspect of this piece is the spaces between the notes are hugely important. I mean it's basically chords and spaces, so in this case, the spaces are even more important than usual!
