Where to buy second hand CGs in the UK

Post by Winterdune » Wed Nov 10, 2010 6:05 pm

Hi all,

What shop has the best selection of good used classical guitars? It seems much harder to find used luthier-built guitars in the UK than in the US.

Thanks
Sean

I'm pretty sure Miles at Kent guitars will have some second hand guitars or collectables you might call them :). I guess it depends on your budget though. I know a fair few places will have one or two second hand guitars. Not loads though. I would Ring around some of the larger shops and see if they have any in your price range.

Hi Sean have tried phoning the shops in London? I think your best bet would be to phone around and leave you details with all the shops you could visit and ask them to call you if anything that you might be interested in arrives. Although from Norfolk, Nottingham and Birmingham would also be an option along with Kent guitars.

Although having said that my secondhand guitar came from a friend and it would never have got on to the open market. Maybe you could put a wanted ad somewhere, here maybe.
