Buying an old 30 year old Yamaha g250s

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if I should buy this vintage classical Yamaha g250s that a guy is selling for 150 bucks with a hard shell case and everything. I've been playing classical for a little over a year and I currently own a fairly good Valencia brand classical guitar which goes for about 300 dollars.(it's one of their top quality models)

Now I'm sure that Yamahas are good for beginners so I'm torn between keeping my current "ok for the price" or getting an old but "great for the price" guitar.

Thanks...,

ChiyoDad

I like Yamahas myself but is there are good reason why you need another guitar which may perform at about the same level as your current one?

Or are you just tempted because it's a bargain? For me, that's not a strong reason to buy even if it is a great bargain.

I agree with ChiyoDad ...

it's a good guitar.. it's bargain.. BUT..

if there's is no difference (or little) from the one you have, then save your $$ for later...

I know.. I was in the same temptation many time...yeah...

good luck
