Cordoba Dolce

Post by FHC » Sun Mar 27, 2011 10:47 pm

Just my 2 cents regarding the Cordoba Dolce I got a few days ago. . .

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and sound. This is by no means a concert-level guitar. But for the money, it will serve the purpose for which I bought it.

I recently got a Dolce as well and agree. The action is a bit high and the G string is a bit muddy (tubby?), but overall it seems a great value if you're looking for a shorter scale guitar. I plan to have the bridge filed down a bit, and maybe try high tension strings for added volume.

Great. Let me know how the high tension strings sound. I may do the same.

My action seems spot on. Also, since there is a trussrod it might be good to check the relief on the neck.
