Double Top Tone

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a double top on their guitar.
Can anyone tell me how the sound of a double top compares to a traditional solid top as I am i the process of building myself a classical and would like to know if it is worth going through the extra frustration to build this special top.

I don't own a double top guitar, however a few years back I tried a double top built by Kenny Hill. I own a standard top model of his. The double top was a lot louder than the one I own! Night and day difference!!!! He used a Kevlar type of material for it and the process sounded extremely involved. If your looking for more sound, this might be a way to go. Personally quality of sound is just as important. For pro players however( I'm an amateur) , they have to be heard !
