Need help with replacement bridge orientation

Post by Linda Kimbrel » Mon May 14, 2018 4:55 am

I have a quick newbie question, not even thinking about building a guitar. I’m struggling with a simple replacement part issue with my everyday Fender 6-string acoustic. I am changing out the stock plastic bridge for a bone compensated bridge. The old bridge is simply a smooth slightly domed strip of plastic. The compensated bridge has cutouts and chamfers at one end. I have no idea which way this new one fits into the bridge slot, with the fancy work towards the high E string end or the low E. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? It is made by Blisstime if that helps. I’m sure a picture might help you but I haven’t figured out how to post pics on this forum yet. 😏🙄 thanks

Folks, never mind. I don't know why I didn't just google this to start with. Found a picture of the correct placement.
