Does all this quality in the end make a difference?
Do you spend less time tuning, and even more important, is it less
frustrating?

I would say that the answer to that would be absolutely yes.

The quality makes a difference to me and that's all that metters. Tuning is rock solid. There is no backlash or rocking back and forth to get the correct tuning.

TWICE as expensive? Yeah...well, I'm afraid I'd have a hard time paying $2,000 for a set of tuners. The fancy Grafs are $980.

No, the Grafs go for anywhere from $310 to $980.

They are quite beautiful, too.

Yes they are but 980? Ouch! :P

The gear wheels are bigger at Rodgers. I never turned Grafs but Rodgers and they are perfect. Also the most prominent Guitarists use Rodgers. They are like Jewels on a guitar, both for sure.

My best are these Rubner top of the line.

OK

chimera

rodgers

Post by chimera » Thu Feb 08, 2007 2:14 am

Rodgers are still the most expensive, if you chose the top model with all the extra options on a rodger it ends up rodgers being about 300 dearer. However, this is not to say that one is better than the other. I would be delighted to have either.
