What a beautiful and calming music!
I did not know this Dowland piece.
:bravo: and :merci:

There is nothing more beautiful than the sound of a guitar - maybe aside from that of two guitars (Frederic Chopin)

It should be better known. As I said, it is easier than Lachrimae, and just as beautiful.

I was really moved by your playing of this piece, Rob - both this guitar version and your lute version. I had thought of doing a version for guitar in normal tuning a couple of years ago but didn't think it really worked. However hearing you play made me think again, so I've now dug the arrangement out and finished it - so if anyone wants to give it a try it's here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=46481#p500086

Thanks, Eric. I had a quick look at your arrangement. Looks fine to me. Hopefully more people will play it now.

Cheers,

Sweet soft tone, very nice piece and playing!

Also I notice that is the Zoom H2 right? I have been trying to decide what to get to record, and was looking at stuff like the H2 or Q3 by Zoom. Do your recommend the H2?

The great thing about the H2 is ease of use. I now have some better recording eqipment, but find myself using the H2 because it is so easy, and with consistently good results.

Since I found this video on your Youtube for me he is number 1. Beautiful atmosphere, sound and performance.
I love this video. I have it always with me (on the cell phone too). I watch him almost every day.
