Here is another piece by Weiss, the little Menuet 2 from Divertimento a solo
(Sonata 23) London manuscript, one of my favourite sonatas and longtime companion.
Recorded Live in 1995, this time played on a common 6-string guitar built by Gioachino Giussani.
I prefer to play this sonata on a 6-string because of the lighter character of the music, so some of the basses are transposed higher. Weiss himself was not very strict here in his octaves, the leading note at 0:59 / repeated at 1:05 solves one octave lower in the autograph. I decided to solve it in the same octave.
Enjoy, comments are welcome!
