Weiss, S. L. - Allemande G Major

Post by thomas » Sun Feb 17, 2008 3:43 pm

Hi all,

after a small break when playing more or less exclusively renaissance music I've spent yesterday's afternoon tuning my baroque lute and finally played a bit on it.
One of the pieces I would like to share is an Allemande I add to the Suite in G-Major (in Munich)

Hello Thomas,

Thank you for the lovely Allemande and the photograph—I am pleased I do not have to tune your lute!

Best wishes, V :) :merci:

Thank you very much, Val and Vesuvio!

No, this Allemande is not in the Munich Ms. but in the Buenos Aires Ms.
In Munich the suite doesn't have an Allemande and no Courante. So the G-Major pieces from Buenos Aires were welcome as addition. I'll add some more movements from the Suite later.

All the best
Thomas
