Hi Elijah,

I really enjoyed your playing of this piece. I've often heard it played mechanically, but your use of phrasing and rubato put some real feeling into it and made it a pleasure to listen to.

Yes, I play with rubato to bring more emotion to the piece.
Carulli's pieces require good interpretation.

you are absolutely right Elijah, Carulli pieces need to be played with emotion.

I am also a very big fan of carrulli,I visite the forum and I see another fan :lol: I know this piece this is the first of carrulli book ,I have playing this piece but more quickly,but your interpretation is good ,clear,I like :bravo:

Ha! Nice to hear someone else play this. I play this piece to warm up every day.

I too have both the Noad books and find them very useful.

It's so hard nowadays to chose pieces to play because there are so many free ones on the internet!

I still buy all the books i 'need' , even if I never use them. LOL. One day will get around to playing them! :bravo:

I think this piece is more pleasant when played in not too fast tempo.
