Carulli, Ferdinando - op.241 II/01, Andante Grazioso - D03

Post by Elijah » Mon Aug 17, 2009 4:36 pm

This is from the Collection of Easy Pieces by Carulli.
I also tested the OLYMPUS DS-30 recorder.
I added a bit reverberation (very small) using Audacity.
Please your comments about my play and the sound produced by the recorder.

Hello Elijah, you played it fluently and did everything right on the gitar, though, the tone sounds very pointy an cold
in my ears. It might sound different on another recording device.

:bravo:
Wonderful Elijah,
I really enjoyed listening to you and playing along. That was great fun and I loved it.
Wonderful gentle tempo, smooth transitions, and lovely tone. Couldn't be better.
I too, think that maybe your recorder has maybe a bit too much treble. Maybe you can tweek the bass and mid tones up a little.
Thank you recording this piece, you have no idea how much I enjoyed it.
I'm going to save this to my desk top so that I can play a duet with you tomorrow, too.

:merci:

Norban, Kay, Vesuvio,
thank you for your nice comments. :merci:
Yes, you are right. :ouioui: I feel too, this device raises trebles too much. :casque: :(
I may consider other options. :chaud: :cafe:
