Hello Elijah,

Most enjoyable—and the perfect companion to the Andante Grazioso you gave us a while back,

Best wishes, V :) :merci: :applauso:

Very nicely played, Elijah! Great dynamics and rhythm. These little Carulli pieces have alot more to them than meets the eye. (Or ear)?

You know, yours are among the few recordings where I don't have to turn my volume all the way up and still strain my ears. You are getting a good, strong signal. :casque:

Thanks for sharing,

Alan

I really like your interpretation and your recording quality was excellent. I liked your dynamics and clean playing, may I ask what setup you used to record this piece. Thanks for posting and hope to hear some more.

Devices such like Zoom H2 or Zoom H4 are usually recommended for guitar recording,

Unfortunately these devices are currently too expensive for my budget.
I use now the OLYMPUS DS-30 digital voice recorder. It has a stereo microphone, produces
high quality sound, the noise is very low.
However it is actually a Dictaphone and deliberately increases the frequencies 3 KHz and higher
to improve the clarity of speech, but it is not so good for guitar recording.
To correct this effect, I use the equalizer functionality of Audacity.
Otherwise the guitar sound is too loud on high frequencies.
I’ve shown one recording without equalization,

and delcampers kindly pointed this disadvantage of the recorder.
