Carulli, Ferdinando - Rondo - Video

Post by abielikesu » Sun Mar 14, 2010 3:49 pm

Howdy,

Yet another "this is my first ... " post by me. This time my first piece in second position. I was making so many funny faces I decided to crop the video 8)

Thanks for watching and, of course, all comments are welcome!

Hi Abie,

Well done! There is a lovely lilt to your performance—I enjoyed it and it sounded like you did too,

Best wishes, V :D :merci:

Ha ha! There was a thread here a while ago called "What's that in your mouth?", or something like that. I look like I'm chewing gum sometimes when I'm playing.

Very nice playing, Abie! You are loving it and you give it a wonderful lilt, as Vesuvio noted.

:bravo:

Your right hand position looks just right to me, as always.

Thank you for sharing!

Alan

Thanks a lot for your comments. :merci:

It's been interesting going beyond the first position. Working in the 3rd position atm.

On the other hand, I'm just getting used ot the Hannabach strings' sound; it's very different from the Savarez corums I'd been using.

As for the right hand, I'm working in getting more volume, I tend to play in a shy kinda way. :chaud:

Thanks all for watching! :casque:
