Owl, I think you are one of the best performing members of this forum. I will never reach your level (i'm fine with that :D ) but enjoy very much what you achieve!

That was really great owl. More than anything you amaze me with how you phrase it all so well. I think many people could learn from the intricate and thoughtful way you interpret pieces. :bravo:

You certainly brought out this joie de vivre. :guitare:

One thing I'd like to ask is have you ever played my favourite large-scale work by Giuliani:- Grande Ouverture. I absolutely love this piece - it is totally manic and the pace just never lets up. (I do play it myself a bit - have memorized it - but I've so much more work to do on it - maybe next year it'll be ok? :wink: )

:merci: :bye:

After getting 2 1/2 foot of snow over the last two days, I relaxed this morning doing the delcamp "thang".

It warmed my heart,soul, and body to hear such virtuosity!! I am a big Giuliani fan and now I am a big owl fan. Crisp. clean, and awe inspiring. I am definitely going to listen to your earlier submissions and look forward to more.

Thank you so much for your dedication, heart and soul.

PS
20 years ago I spent some time in Sydney and Canberra. I must say that I really enjoyed Australia, lovely people, lovely beaches.

Thanks Daan... I'm happy that you enjoy listening
Keep up your own good work... it's good to be happy with where you're at :D

@Lucy
Thanks Lucy... it's great music and I enjoy playing it

Yes I have... I love the bass work in that piece... I haven't worked it up to performance level though
I recently recorded Tarrega's 'Fantasia', and although the music is nothing the same, the feeling I get when I play the piece is similar to Guiliani's Ouverture
If you haven't tried the Tarrega piece you should do so... but be warned, you'll need ALL the tools in your tool box! :chaud:

@drunningw
I'm happy the music 'warmed' you... thank you for listening :D
I'm also glad you enjoyed your visit here... we haven't changed much... nor have the beaches :mrgreen:

Thank you all
